New Starconnect Cutomer Portal Released

As of May 2008 a new Starconnect Merchant Portal will be released. Designed to enhance customer service, the portal provides a range of self management tools for Starconnect Customers. The system also allows "non-web' transactions to be processed via a secure web interface. This is a mjor advance for merchants as the Starconnect IPG system is no longer restricted to interfacing with online systems (such as a web site), but may also allow operators to process payments directly just by entering valid card details. The direct payment system is expected to assist SME's by allowing them to maintain a single system for all web, phone and face to face transactions rather than needing to maintain multiple systems.
